A former event photographer, I became an early adopter of, advocate for, and then a digital camera addict. After half-a-million frames taken and thousands of dollars spent, I now ignore the marketing that promotes technology over the eyes of the photographer. I’ve even returned to film cameras with the understanding that one should not have to hold a Ph.D. in physics to take a picture. I’m on a journey using photography to promote a more contemplative way of life. Photography doesn’t have to be complicated…find the light, shoot, preserve memories, and create your art.
